Have You Thought About How Life Began?
There are two competing world views regarding origins: 1. Evolution teaches us that stars have changed into
people over billions of years, and that there never was a worldwide flood. 2. Creation teaches us that God
created everything including stars and people, about 6,000 years ago, and that there really was a worldwide
flood.
We all see the same fossils, same rocks, same animals, and same universe. Why are there two world views?
Living Cells
The most basic unit of life is a living cell. We now know that even the most basic of cells is extremely complex.
The experts in this field describe each cell as being filled with a large number of complex machines that function
cooperatively. How could such an intricate system come to be, since every part of the cell would have to be fully
functional from the start? Finding a natural process that can cause non-living chemicals to self assemble into
the first living cell appears to be an impossible dream.
DNA
The 6 feet of DNA in every one of the 100 trillion cells of your body contains all of the information needed to
make your entire body. This DNA information is stored, read, duplicated, and acted upon by the many machines
in each cell, so that they can make repairs to the cell. Where did this information come from? Experts tell us that
information cannot randomly appear. The only known source of information is intelligence (in this case that
would mean God).

Evolutionists use radioactive carbon dating to measure the age of things that used to be living. Various other
radioactive dating methods are used to determine the age of rocks. All of these dating methods are based
upon assumptions that have often proved to be wrong. Lava flows known to be hundreds of years old years
old have been dated at millions of years old.
Since radioactive dating can return questionable numbers, evolutionists sometimes replace those measured
radioactive dates through the following "more trustworthy" procedure. They date rocks by the fossils that
were found in those rocks, and they date fossils by the rocks in which these fossils were found. This dating
method is illogical, and it is often referred to as “circular reasoning”.
Can Science Prove Our Origin?
Evolution is filled with scientific impossibilities in most of its facets, from the formation of stars and planets, to
how life began and how new species emerged. Even though the scientific facts strongly point toward creation
and away from evolution, the truth is that science CANNOT PROVE how life began.
Evolutionists START with a BELIEF that everything came about by natural processes through time and
chance, THEN they begin to look at the evidence. Evolutionists do not consider creation as a possibility,
because creation goes against their blind faith in time and chance.
Evolution is NOT science. Evolution is a belief system, just as creation is a belief system.
We Are All Rebels
By our very nature we are all rebels against God. We do not want a creator, because then we would be
subject to the creator's authority. This is why evolution can be so seductive to us. In the Bible, God describes
the corrupted thinking with which we are all born and how we can deliberately forget about God. Jesus'
disciple Peter wrote the following words almost 2000 years ago, but these words describe the thinking of a
modern evolutionist.
2 Peter 3:3-6 “In the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say,
‘Where is this “coming” he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the
beginning of creation.’ But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the
earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and
destroyed.” (NIV)

Our Creator
In the Bible we learn the truth of our origins from the one who was
there, God. The Lord God created the entire universe in six days.
Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and they are the
ancestors of every human being. Originally Adam and Eve were very
happy and content, but eventually they rebelled against God, and this
corrupted their entire thinking. We, as their descendants, have
inherited this corruption. That is why, by nature, we are so enticed by
evolution with its promise to eliminate God.
Death and Suffering Begin
God created a perfect world. There was no suffering or death. People
and animals lived in perfect harmony with each other. All animals and
all people were vegetarians. There was no evil, only good.

which we find today are what would be expected from a flood that covered
the entire earth. The earth is very different than it was before the flood.
Many creationists think that dinosaurs become extinct because they could
not survive in the post flood environment.
